Final Fantasy 7 took some inspiration from Final Fantasy 15 when developing the combat system and it will be interesting to see if Aspyr decides to take any inspiration from more recent Star Wars games. For example, the remake of Final Fantasy 7 also decided to make the change from turn-based combat and did so with a resounding amount of success.
